Instructions

Refilling a fountain pen from an ink pot using a converter (charger barrel) is a simple process. Follow these steps:

  1. Prepare the Pen: Unscrew the pen body to expose the converter attached to the nib section.
  2. Insert the Nib: Dip the nib and part of the section into the ink pot until the nib is fully submerged.
  3. Draw Ink: Twist or pull the converter mechanism to draw ink into the converter. You’ll see the ink filling the converter.
  4. Remove Air Bubbles: Twist the converter in the opposite direction to expel a bit of ink back into the pot, removing any air bubbles. Then twist it again to refill.
  5. Clean Excess Ink: Carefully remove the nib from the ink pot and wipe any excess ink off the nib and section with a soft cloth or tissue.
  6. Reassemble the Pen: Screw the body of the pen back onto the nib section.
  7. Test: Test the pen on paper to ensure a smooth flow.

Riley ★★★★★

The blue ink is a perfect match for my everyday writing, and the pot holds plenty so I'm not refilling every week. It takes a few tries to get the converter fill right, but once you do, it's smooth sailing.

Joshua I. ★★★★★

The black ink flows beautifully from my converter—smooth and consistent with no skipping on any paper I've tried. Refilling from the pot is mess-free, and a single fill lasts me a solid week of daily writing.

William ★★★★★

I was a bit hesitant about the blue ink at first, but it flows beautifully in my pen and dries quickly without smudging. The converter filled up cleanly with no mess on the first try.
