The pages lay flat without me having to crack the spine, which makes writing in such a small notebook feel effortless. The gold gilded edges catch the light beautifully and give it a classic, almost vintage feel.

The gold gilded edges are exactly what drew me in, and they look even better in person. It lies flat nicely when open, which is handy for jotting things down on the go. Only wish the cover had a bit more texture, but for the price it's a lovely little purchase.

The pages are thick enough that my fountain pen doesn't bleed through, which is rare for a notebook this compact. The lay-flat binding makes it easy to jot notes one-handed, though the cover does pick up fingerprints faster than I'd like.
